Lead with AI  ·  Not Hype
An Editorial Index of Work

Three apps, one framework, and a practice of leading with AInot hype.

Dr. Renaldo Jones writes, builds, and consults on the operational reality of working with generative systems. This issue collects the tools, the method, and the work currently in the field.

PLATE I — RACE / QUIET / F3

Most consultants have either theory or practice. I use both — a Doctorate in Strategic Leadership for how systems actually change, and a PMO Director seat that shows me, every week, what actually blocks it. The doctorate teaches the pattern. The PMO reveals the friction. AI is the lever that finally makes them move together.

I didn't pivot to artificial intelligence because it was trending. I built RACEprompt because I watched teams burn months on back-and-forth with models that didn't know what they wanted. I built QuietPulse because I needed it — a calm, structured pause for people who actually have jobs. I help ship F3 because my partner needed a builder who could move. Problem, tool, ship — that is the pattern.

I don't write frameworks to be read. I write them so something gets done before the meeting ends.

The RACE framework — Role, Action, Context, Expectation — is small on purpose. Most people's prompts fail because they skip one of the four. Name the role you're casting the model in, state the action, ground the context, and specify what "done" looks like. That is the whole method. The app only exists because memorizing it isn't enough; you need to write it down, and most people won't.

Works currently in the field.

I.

Prompt Engineering · PrimaryRACEprompt

The prompt optimization layer between a human with a question and a model with a thousand answers. Role · Action · Context · Expectation — written down and rendered as a product. Used on four platforms.

II.

Wellness · Privacy-firstQuietPulse

A breathwork practice for people who actually have jobs. Zero accounts, zero tracking SDKs, on-device only. Apple Watch is a first-class citizen — not a remote control. Twelve patterns, one subscription you may never need.

Platforms iOS · Apple Watch
macOS (planned)

III.

Identity · PartnershipF3 — Focus. Fight. Finish.

Identity-based accountability, built with Jada Sullivan. A framework — Focus, Fight, Finish — rendered as a daily loop. iOS and Android, with a watch complication that is actually useful at 41mm.

§ IV · Consulting Practice

Describe the problem. Receive a working prototype in twenty-four hours.

Every other consultant wants to schedule a discovery call. I ship. You send the brief today; I send a working, interactive prototype — with your data, your context, and a plain-English summary — before tomorrow's standup.

01
Working prototype — not a mockup, not a concept deck.
02
Executive summary of what was built and the reasoning behind it.
03
Video walkthrough so anyone on your team can use it immediately.
04
Structured feedback loop — iteration priced by what matters, not by hour.
05
Delivered inside 24 hours, most clients align the same day.

A note from the editor.

The honest thing is this — I didn't know I was overusing the expensive model until I asked it to audit me. Ninety-five percent of what I do doesn't need the large version. That's an embarrassing number. It's also why I'm good at this work. I don't pretend to be three steps ahead. I'm one step ahead, and I show my notes.

If you're here to talk about AI, you're welcome to — but we're probably going to build something instead. I'm a practitioner. My best thinking shows up in the tools I ship and the briefs I write for teams who need to stop experimenting.
